High Tech Solutions to Age Old Problem:
Cracked Courts
The tennis industry for decades has sought answers for
deteriorated courts and cracked surfaces beyond the scope of normal
solutions. Old courts that become unplayable have been faced with
destruction until now. New patented system brings answers today!
May also be used as new court surface over
crushed stone or fast-dry and har-tru conversions with excellent results.

Courts on a Roll: "The Nova'Pro-Bounce consists of an
all-weather densely fibered turf with a waterproof backing. This turf is
also laid out in large rolls and seamed together to form a single
manufactured composite that is fastened only at the court edges. The
turf fibers are filled with silica sand and then saturated with a liquid
resin that cures and locks together the sand and fibers to form a
cushioned layer. The resin-filled turf is then toped with a
standard, flexible liquid-applied acrylic surface system.
Because the Nova'Pro-Bounce surface if filled on-site with
sand and liquid resin, the surface can bridge larger cracks. In
fact, the Pro-Bounce System has successfully been installed over a gravel
base and fast-dry courts without the need for an asphalt or concrete
pavement below.
Composite surfacing systems are more costly but they save
time, money and headaches in the long run. It is important to remember
that only a manufactured composite surface system can provide long lasting
solution in court pavement cracking. It is an excellent alternative to
total pavement reconstruction."

Kinzie
Wright, Captain-George Washington Univ. Men's Tennis Team, states, "I
think our Court Surface is soft and very forgiving. The surface gives a
little so it is easier on your joints and body but the surface is not
so soft to where it affects the bounce of the ball. This softness makes
the court a little bit slower, but you are still able to generate enough
pace on the ball to compliment your game." |
