| 1. How much
does it cost to install your 'Pro-Bounce' cushion surface?. |
For
resurfacing, you should
expect to invest in the range of $3.00 to $3.50 per sq. foot for the
'Pro-Bounce System' installed, depending on the condition of the
existing court, layout and it's dimensions.
New construction placed over a stable base
will cost in the same range as an asphalt or concrete court. |
| 2. I
have bad knees, but love to play. Will I have to adjust to this surface? |
Only from the standpoint of playing
longer with more comfort. Pro- Bounce is an area elastic
playing surface with the feel of grass or clay underfoot and a 'true
all-American' hard court ball reaction. This is the ultimate in
CushionCourt play. |
| 3. Is there a lot
of maintenance? |
No!
In fact, because
'Pro-Bounce' system is built with the highest quality resins and
finishes, periods between normal resurfacing will probably be greater
than a typical hard court, as much as seven to ten years. |
| 4. Will my court
play faster than asphalt or concrete courts? And what is the speed of
play? |
Generally, the court speed will be a
medium paced game, however, this can be modified by the texture of the
finish. |
| 5. How long has
the 'Pro-Bounce' been in existence? |
Conceptually, the system has been under
consideration and development for over 10 years. First installations
were made in 1999. Interest and demand have grown
since year 2000 with
phenomenal success. |
| 6. My existing
court is 15 years old and cracked. Plus, the landscaping is mature and
access to the court is difficult. Is this a problem? |
Access in a tight court is no problem
for surface installation. All components can easily be carried through a
gate without damage to mature landscaping. No heavy equipment is
required. |
| 7. I have seen
courts which are rolled out or snapped together like blocks which have
dead spots or sound funny when played on. Will I have to worry about
this? |
'Pro-Bounce' is built on site and
weighs approximately 43,000 lbs. or 22 tons per court ensuring a clean,
quiet playing surface with a 'true ball bounce' throughout the surface. |
| 8. Is there a
Warranty with the surface? |
Yes, a 5-Year Warranty against
cracking. |
| 9. How long does
it take to install? |
Generally, five (5) days for a single
court. Multiple courts (two, three, four courts) will take seven (7) to
ten (10) days. Multiple courts take less time per court. |
| 10. Who installs
the surface? |
'Pro-Bounce' may only be installed
through trained licensed Novagrass dealers. |
| 11. How do I
select the right surface for me? |
It's easy! Nova'Pro-Bounce is a
different system tailored to bring new cushion and life to cracked and
deteriorating courts, suitable for all styles and budgets. No other
surface is provided with a comparable warranty. |
| 12. What colors
are available and can I have a different color outside to the playing
area? |
We have 6 standard colors in our range
and "Two Tone" courts are very popular and easily
installed by our qualified licensed contractors. Contact us for a free
color chart and to discuss the most attractive combination for your club
or residence. |
| 13. Can I play
other sports on my Nova'Pro-Bounce court? |
The Nova'Pro-Bounce System is designed
to accommodate many other court sports such as basketball and
volleyball. These are only two other sports for which our system is
ideally suited. The benefit of being a "multi-purpose" surface
is particularly useful for schools and commercial facilities. If you
have a special surface need, just ask us. Chances are we will have a
system that is perfect for the job. Whenever
you want to play a sport, we can provide a surface to do it on! |
| 14. Where can the
Nova'Pro-Bounce be used? |
We have many installations throughout
the U.S. covering everything from indoor stadiums to personal courts.
Many of these sites are used for tournament play with excellent
responses. In many cases, we can tailor the system to meet the
requirements of the job. |
| 15. Is your
surface safe to play on and does it get slippery when wet? |
The demanding sport of tennis...players
need to be able to accelerate quickly and stop immediately. The non-slip
aspect of the surface, in most cases, means minimal injury to anyone
unfortunate enough to fall. The surface is definitely non-slip in
both wet and dry conditions; the shock absorbent, cushioned effect
(under foot) is most noticeable; and the appearance of the surface
in relation to the surroundings is very pleasing. |
